[ARCHIVED] Is your business 'essential'?

Here's how to find out if your business is 'essential' and how to report businesses that are open, but should be closed...

How do I find out if my business is considered essential or non-essential?
The Governor’s Office provided a list of essential services. Make sure to take a look at that first. If you have reviewed the list, but you are still unsure how your business is defined, you are encouraged to contact your attorney for clarification. If there are additional questions or concerns, you may fill out a Business Inquiry Form and submit that to the Nez Perce County Prosecutor’s Office. Depending on the number of forms submitted in a given period of time, it may take 24 hours to receive a response. If you need  an immediate answer, you need to seek private legal advice.

Where can I report a business that is not complying with the Governor’s Stay Home Order?
If you believe a business is not complying with the Governor’s Stay-Home Order, call your local law enforcement office’s non-emergency phone number.
