Tirazheh Eslami, faculty member at LCSC and exhibition coordinator for the Center for Arts & History, is exhibiting her own artwork at the Lewiston City Library. According to her artist statement: "I seek to broaden cultural awareness, specifically to communicate to Western society the richness and beauty of my own Persian culture." Her work includes a collage series, which "combines elements from Western and Eastern cultures to provide a dialogue of biculturalism." Her collage series, as well as prints featuring Persian and Arabic calligraphy, are on display on the Library's first floor. Her digital art is on display in the second floor Event Space.
