21st Street Fiberseal Project

This project is currently shutdown for the winter season. Updates will be provided as the weather improves.

Project Description

As outlined in the 2020 Transportation Plan (PDF) and every succeeding Transportation Capital Improvement Plan (PDF) annual update since, 21st Street is a major thoroughfare in need of attention. A full reconstruction of 21st Street is a necessity but until funding can be obtained, the City will be proceeding with a preservation project to provide a temporary (10-year) solution.

The City Council approved the design phase of this project in June 2023. On Monday, September 11th, City Council approved the agreement with VSS International, Inc. for the construction phase of this project.
